How it works
- Applicants Must…
- Be a graduating high school senior
- Be a dependent child of a Coon Valley Telephone customer
- Be accepted by an accredited two- or four-year college or university, or vocational-technical school. Online classes do not qualify.
- Have at least a “C” accumulative grade point average. Please note this is not a scholarship based on a 4.0 average, but awarded to deserving students whose academic credentials fall within an average to above -average range.
- Express an interest to work in a rural community following graduation.

- Complete the scholarship application in full.
- Return Application to Coon Valley Telephone Business Office by April 12th, 2024 @ 12:00 noon. No late applications will be accepted.

- Award Procedure
- Winner will be selected by an independent qualified committee.
- Scholarships will be awarded on a one-time basis and will not be renewable
- Award will be paid upon proof of registration at an institute of higher education, and will be payable after the completion of the first semester.
- Scholarship will be awarded without regard to race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, or disability.
- Incomplete application will not be considered.
